Is this tomato determinate or indeterminate?

    • :

      This is a indeterminate variety.

  2. :

I like to start my seeds in a bit of water before transplanting them into soil. The fizzed once i put them in and looks like they dissolved..why is this?

    • :

Our tomato seeds are coated with an all natural material to make them easier to handle and plant. It dissolves with water, so this is what you may be seeing. Thanks for your question.

  3. :

I bought these seeds at a store. Neither the packet nor your Web site tell me how deep to plant the seeds. Seed-planting depth is critical to success, but I watched your video on planting indoors and it does not specify the depth to plant seeds.

    • :

Rita – Plant most tomato seeds about 1/4 inch below the surface of your soil.

    Excellent Germination!!!
I have to start my plants early here in Northern Wisconsin with our relatively short growing season. I started your organic Cherokee Purple tomato seeds in early February and was happily amazed to see these wonderful healthy seedlings poke their heads from the soil after a brief seven days. Am looking forward to a great gardening season with such a wonderful start. Am going all organic this year and am happy to have your tomatoes part of my garden.
